I was introduced to coding in 2016. After writing my first line of code and running it successfully, I was hooked. Seeing my code come to life on my screen gave me a feeling of great accomplishment. I wanted to learn more and that lead me to join a coding boot camp.
During my coding boot camp, I learned a variety of coding languages. Throughout the camp, I had to use the languages I was learning to complete projects. As the camp continued each new project was more difficult than the previous. By the end of the boot camp, I couldn’t believe all of the projects I was able to complete. This motivated me to want to open my own business in web development and now I can help people with their website needs.
Here are some of the things I learned during my coding boot camp.
HTML / CSS
These two were the first languages I learned when I started my adventure in programming. With them I have learned how to build websites and style them. These languages help your imagination come to life.
I am familiar with the following:

- LESS
JavaScript
JavaScript adds the interactivity component to HTML and CSS.This help me create menu roll- over effects, photo-galleries, and much more.
I am familiar with the following:

C# and MVC
Python
Python is another great tool to use. It has an extensive library that helps accomplish many operations.
I am familiar with the following:
- Python 2
- Python 3
- Tkinter
Database
Using databases and SQL can help you see patterns within a large amount of data. Used properly you can make connections between tables and get specific results from them. For example, you can see what shoe size is purchased the most or what brand with just a few lines of code.

- SQL Server Reporting Services
Keep Learning
Technology is always changing and over the years new programming languages are being built everyday. Even the current popular languages are being updated. This is great news for me because I love learning and as a developer I will never stop learning.
